Informazioni sugli studi
È stata condotta una ricerca sistematica per studi pubblicati o presentati in occasione di conferenze scientifiche internazionali, e sono stati inclusi gli studi in cui un elaboratore del suono Ponto è stato confrontato con un altro audioprocessore. Desideravamo includere tutti gli studi presentati, indipendentemente dal fatto che il risultato fosse positivo o negativo per i nostri scopi. Abbiamo trovato dieci studi in totale che soddisfacevano tali criteri. I dati includono gli audioprocessori Ponto, Ponto Pro e Ponto Pro Power, utenti al primo utilizzo e pazienti che già impiegavano altri sistemi acustici ancorati all'osso, oltre a un'ampia gamma di tipologie di perdite dell'udito.
